The 3 Day Cederberg Tour The classic get-away-from-it-all trip for the Cape Town adventure biker tired of the city. Just a few hours north of the city, the Cederberg offers interesting gravel routes through unspoiled nature and gives a real taste of Africa. Easy off-road riding intersperses with some technical parts past secluded rooibos tea farms and rugged landscapes makes this a trip to remember. We recommend doing this ride on the smaller BMW F650/800 GS bikes.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Collection of BMW motorcycles. After a short introduction we will depart along the N1. Through the winelands of Paarl and Wellington we reach Bain's Kloof Pass where we stop for lunch. Then it's along Mitchels Pass to Ceres where we make our first acquaintance with South African gravel roads approximately 220KM (50 gravel)
Day 2: A day spend discovering the remote wilderness of the Cederberg region on gravel roads. Circling the Cederberg we will ride through Wuppertal, the rooibos tea growing area of Clanwilliam and the Algeria region to return to our base in the Ceres area for the evening. approximately 350KM gravel
Day 3: Our return trip to Cape Town takes us over the Theronsberg Pass and through the Hex River Valley before we cross the Drakenstein mountains on Franschhoek Pass to get back to Cape Town approximately 350KM (50 gravel)
